Personal Biography

Family
Wife, Velda,
Three
daughters: Julie, Janet, Sammie-Dee.
Jimmy and Velda
were married in 1975. Velda has
concentrated on her role as wife and mother. Julie is a graduate of West
Texas A&M University in Canyon. Currently she is teaching
3rd grade. Janet graduated from UNT in Denton. She married Josh in 2002.
Their daughter was born in 2004. Janet teaches 4th grade. Sammie-Dee graduated from West Texas A&M in Canyon. She
married Cory in 2004. They have a son born in 2007. And a daughter born in
2009 Sammie-Dee teaches
Head Start 3 year olds. All three girls were very active
in their high school extra-curricular activities. They literally grew up in
Lionism, accompanying Jimmy & Velda to Lions events around the world at
various times.
